Namaste

  3. I am surprised by how many people are so open by showing their culture by dressing the way it represents their culture. This is similar to the US because of how modern day people in the US dress.

  6. It is different on how they greet and do there action differently from cooking to eating. It reminds me on how this world doesn't function the same. I would want to know more in depth on why they do what they do.

  7. I'm surprised how they have so much to wear. I think i wouldn't like to wear all of the jewelry all the time but i understand why they do. I feel like i would like to know why they wear that so i can understand more.

    What are you reminded of in your own experience with this entry? In my faith a lot is brought into religious aspects and not science.
    What would you like to know more about. How women personally feel about all these traditions.

  9. What surprised you?
    -What surprised me was how most of the Indian population is Hindu. I thought at least half and half of India believed in Hinduism and Buddhism.

    What are you reminded of in your own experience with this entry?
    -From this entry, I am reminded of how the girls in India use jewelry to mark certain periods of their life and they wear the jewelry all the time. This reminds me of how while I don´t wear a lot of jewelry, I always wear my heart necklace.

    What would you like to know more about?
    -I would like to learn more about why they have to wear their jewelry most of the time and if there are ever moments or situations where it's necessary to take off their jewelry.

  12. I really love the pictures that she has and how she formatted it. She also has a great video. It has good and interesting information on School. What surprised me was how good their education system looks, I don't know why but I thought it was going to be a lot more poor.
    What reminds me of my own experiences is how Shuja can't find employment despite having a degree, which is something very common from where I come from and something that my mom has experienced A LOT. I would like to know a lot more of their customs and education.
